I was born in a very humble family, in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Though both my parents are from Netrokona, they came to Dhaka to live as a couple right after their marriage. Both of them were govt. employee.
Being born in such a family, my life could be adventurous , full of thrill to the brim, just like Dipu (number 2). But alas, that's not the case. The only place other than Dhaka I got to visit due to my parents' job was Savar, which is almost Dhaka itself.
My childhood properly began while I was in Savar, because I remember so much about it, and very little things before that. We lived at the "Matshya Prashikkhan Academy". I truly consider that place as my true root. Because that is the place that gave me my basic personality. Interacting with the other kids, and adults... how precious! I was the eldest of all the kids, so, by default, I was the leader. And to the adults, I was a HUGE nuisance, I was Vengence, brought upon them, for all the petty evil deeds they committed throughout their lives.... (just kidding. I was truly troublesome, naughty)
I spent my first year of academic education in Radio Colony Model school, and then in Savar Cantonment Public School and College i studied for whole 5 years, from grade 1st to 5th. Result was good enough. Friends, very good....
in 2005 I moved to the Capital, dear old Dhaka, again, with my family. I started at the Ideal School and College. Ideal had quite an influence in shaping my personality too. But it was not a comfortable place. I was always afraid... always uneasy, for all the time I used to think, I HAVE TO DO BETTER. I gained some very good friends there too by the end, and also some pests.
Among all the extra curricular activities offered at the school, I took part in only 2. I was with the Boy Scout group, went up to "Progress" badge, but as my parents didn't let me go to the camps outside Dhaka, getting disappointed, I left Scouting altogether. I had some very good friends who got the "President's Scout" award and I am still proud that I could spend some quality time with them.
The School Football tournament in 8th Grade is also a very shining memory. Because, we are the champions, my friend... No time for losers... we are the champions... (Section 9). There were some very proud players in other sections. But in the end, we were the better team. GK Shagor, Striker Mahim, Arman, Defender me, ah... I wish to relive those times. In the final, due to the scolding of a so-called teacher, I had a nervous breakdown, and I had to be subbed out... I haven't forgiven him. he was just a mean teacher. After doing so great all throughout the tournament, in the final, he had to make that scene. useless teacher...
2010 brought an end to my relationship with Ideal School and College, and I started my study at Notre Dame College (Go NDC). as usual there are up side and down side. Upside was my time with the tabligi brothers. Sanaullah (Akam Sana), Masud, Obaydul, Shajib, Sabbir Jubaer from time to time.. We used to go on Tablig Jamat during vacations. Religious obligations were okay, but chill?? oh, yeah.. :v
My parents started to give me some sort of regulated freedom. I love this decision. They used to give me 1000 taka per month. I used to use 500 for all my costings, and use the remaining for my hobbys. Me and Hasan (Josen) used to visit Tikatuli and Nilkhet on a regular basis. Books, and science became my new crush. My very first telescope that we built, The first time I took a peek at the moon brought me such joy, I have nothing else to compare it to.
2012, HSC, another good result. Now it's time for admission test baby...
My initial performance was horrible. I was so frustrated, because all my other friends were getting admitted in different universities and I got no chance at all. But eventually I pulled myself up and secured 3 positions at Kuet, Cuet and Buet. Buet it is, Mechanical life... The rest is up there in my social media.. Go , enjoy...
